AAP wave gets stronger in Phagwara as 300 families join party by leaving Congress, Akali Dal and BSP

Phagwara, 07 February 2022 : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Phagwara and former Punjab Minister Joginder Singh Mann’s campaign got major boost on Monday as 300 families joined the party in village Maanak, Lakhpur and Manohar Nagar in city.

These families said good bye to Akali Dal, BSP, BJP and Congress to join AAP. All the people who had joined AAP pledged fulsome support and cooperation to Mann. They said that while all the other parties have fielded outsiders from Phagwara only AAP has fielded a local candidate in form of Mann, who can get their problems resolved. They said that they will not vote for any outsider as only a person well known to them can resolve their issues well.

Welcoming these leaders in party fold Mann said that they will be given due respect and position in the party. He said that massive public support in favour of AAP reflects the love of people towards Arvind Kejriwal, who has transformed the lives of people in Delhi. He said that the day is not far away when AAP will form government in Punjab and Bhagwant Mann will become the Chief Minister of state.

He said that an unprecedented wave of comprehensive development and progress will be witnessed in the state after formation of AAP government. He said his top most priority will be to get District status for Phagwara so that problems faced by people can be redressed easily. He said that every effort will be made to develop Phagwara as a model city.
