Big jolt for Congress as Senior leader Rakesh Ghai joins AAP
Phagwara, 06 February 2022 : Congress party in today got a major jolt in city as Senior Congress leader Rakesh Ghai today joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in presence of AAP candidate and former Minister Joginder Singh Mann.
‘Congress no longer bothers about the leaders and workers who have dedicatedly served the party in their life’ said Ghai from ward number 9.
Ghai said that he had been serving the Congress party zealously throughout life but the party had not recognised it. He said that Joginder Singh Mann had ever stood with the workers due to which he had been popular amongst all the Phagwara residents. He said that more Congress leaders and workers will join AAP in coming days.
Meanwhile, welcoming Ghai and his supporters in party fold Mann, accompanied by Inderjeet Khalyan and Harnoor Singh Harji Mann, said that they will be given due respect in the party fold. He said that he will accord top priority to make Phagwara a district after the formation of AAP government in the state. He said that a strong wind is blowing in favour of AAP and Bhagwant Mann will be soon the Chief Minister of state.
He said that the day is not far away when AAP will win Phagwara seat with a huge margin and Phagwara will be developed into a model city. He reiterated that an unprecedented era of comprehensive development and progress will be witnessed in the state after formation of AAP government. He said his top most priority will be to resolve all problems faced by people.
