Commissionerate Police make first arrest in Kishanpura firing incident, raids on to arrest remaining five suspects
Jalandhar, June 25-
The commissionerate Police on Friday made first arrest in Kishanpura firing incident by arresting Harmanpreet Singh of Shiv Nagal locality, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Gurmeet Singh.
In a short video update, the DCP said that the investigation team so far has figured six suspects in this case, who were present on the spot when fire incident took place. He stated that after the incident Harmanpreet and Mohit Lovely had taken the deceased Happy Sandhu to a nearby hospital, who ran away from the spot after observing deteriorating health of the Sandhu. He reiterated that the Police will take this case to a logical end very soon.
Thworing light on the investigation of murder case of former MC Sukhmeet Deputy, Singh added that the police have got some vital leads and working on multiple theories to crack this case. He stated that some jail inmates would be brought for interrogation on production warrant to problem enmity angle in this case.
