PSA OXYGEN PLANT TO COME UP AT RAIKOT CIVIL HOSPITAL
Raikot (Ludhiana), June 5
Punjab government has sanctioned a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen generation plant in Raikot Civil Hospital which would come up at the cost of Rs 50 lakh.
Divulging more information, Senior Youth Congress Leader Kamil Amar Singh said that Fatehgarh Sahib Dr Amar Singh had taken up the matter with Punjab Government about the shortage of oxygen in the Raikot hospital and demanded a PSA oxygen generation plant there.
He said that now the government has approved a PSA oxygen plant that will generate around 200 litres of oxygen per minute and released a grant of Rs 50 lakh. He said that the plant would be installed within a month and would start generating the lifesaving gas. He said that the plant would help to combat the anticipated third wave of Covid-19 effectively.
Singh stated that the people belonging to Sudhar, Pakkhowal, Jagraon would be benefitted from the installation of the plant and Civil Hospital would depend upon others for the oxygen.
SDM Raikot Dr Himanshu Gupta thanked Fatehgarh Sahib MP for taking up the matter of oxygen plant with the government.
