Harji Mann urges Health Minister to upgrade Civil Hospital Phagwara
Kapurthala, 13 July 2022 : Youth leader of AAP Harnoor Singh Harji Mann today met the Punjab Health Minister Mr Chetan Singh Jauremajra and urged him to upgrade the Phagwara civil hospital.
Harji Mann apprised the Health Minister that Phagwara was the hub of Doaba and being on the national highway the hospital has a huge significance as a number of accident cases are referred here. However, he said that the hospital lacks adequate infrastructure and Human Resource to cater the needs of people. Harji Mann said that the need of hour is to equip this hospital with ultra modren facilities so that people can get quality health services.
The youth leader sought the kind intervention of the Minister for upgradation of hospital on modren lines and filling the vacant posts in the Hospital. He said that the Punjab Chief Minister Mr Bhagwant Mann has already given a huge gift by announcing trauma centre like facilities for the hospital and it needs to be implemented soon for well being of people. Harji Mann said that people of Phagwara will be always indebted to the Chief Minister and the government for giving huge relief to it in form of this centre.
Meanwhile, the Minister assured Harji Mann that all the issues pertaining to the Health care system in Phagwara will be redressed on priority. He said that the Punjab government is according top priority to Health sector in state and no stone will be left unturned for this noble task. The Minister also said that all the promises made with people will be fulfilled soon.
