FACEBOOK BANNED FORMER US PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP FOR TWO YEARS
Facebook Inc suspended former US President Donald Trump from its platform for next two years and announced changes of the treatment for rule-breaking world leaders in the future. On this Trump reacted that “facebook’s decision to continue the suspension of his account until 2023 was an insult to Americans who voted for him in the 2020 presidential elections.
Facebook’s independent oversight board in May holed the social media giant’s block on Trump which was enforced in the wake of January six riots at the US Capitol, as the company complained that his posts were inciting violence.
