Adc reviews arrangements for Parkash Utsav of Satguru Kabir ji
– Asks officials of Municipal Corporation to revamp the chowk besides repairing road infrastructure
Jalandhar, 30 May 2022 : Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amit Sareen today reviewed the arrangements for the parkash utsav of Satguru Kabir Ji wherein he directed the officials of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation to ensure beautification of Satguru Kabir chowk besides other works including cutting of excess grass,trimming of trees, and repairing of roads.
During his visit, the ADC asked the municipal officials to immediately embark a beautification drive at this chowk so that a new look could be given to it. The floor tiles to be replaced at the chowk besides other maintenance works, he said adding that the repairing of main Nakodar road which leads to Satguru Kabir Temple would also be initiated at the earliest so as to facilitate huge influx of devotees that visit the temple to pay obeisance to the occasion of parkash utsav of Satguru Kabir ji.
Mr. Sareen categorically asked the departments concerned to leave no stone unturned to complete all the assigned tasks within the stipulated time-frame. He said that any kind of inordinate delay in this task would be highly unwarranted; thereby explanation of erring officials would also be sought. He asked officials to accord top-priority to the preparations of upcoming parkash utsav so that the event could be organized smoothly.
On the occasion members from Satguru Kabir Mukhya Mandir management committee Rakesh Bhagat, Rajinder Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Satish Billa, and others were present.
