ENSURE NO MUTATION REMAINS PENDING BEYOND TIMELINE OF 45 DAYS- DC ASKS REVENUE OFFICIALS
– 235 PENDING MUTATION CASES DESPOSED OF DURING SPECIAL CAMP HELD AT JALANDHAR-I TEHSIL
Jalandhar, 16 July 2022 : In a bid to ensure zero pendency of mutations in the district, special camp was held in Jalandhar-I Tehsil on Saturday wherein as many as 235 pending mutation cases were disposed of by the revenue officials.
Reviewing the camp held here at district administrative complex, Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh directed the Patwaris, Kanoongos, Circle Revenue Officers (CROs), and SDMs to ensure that no mutation case was pending with them beyond the timeline of 45 days.
The DC asked officials of revenue department to speed up the entire procedure with respect to mutation so that people do not face any kind of problem in getting the mutations of their properties registered. He categorically mentioned that if any sort of inordinate delay was reported in this task, the officials concerned have to face strict departmental action for the delay.
He also directed the officials to clear their respective pendency within a week so that the target of zero pendency beyond timeline could be achieved in the district. Mr. Singh said that after the integration of the NDGRS system, registration of mutation is now compulsory within 45 days after the registration of property. He further said that no stone would be left unturned to deliver government services in a hassle-free and time-bound manner.
Pointing out further, SDM Dr. Jai Inder Singh said that a total of 167 pending mutations have been disposed of by Tehsildar-1 while 68 cases were decided by Nayab Tehsildar-1 with Deputy Commissioner himself overseeing the entire procedure.
