Friendly Cricket Match Played between Dark horse and Warriors Group at Jalandhar Heights

Jalandhar,  12   June   2022   :  In residential society, Jalandhar Heights a friendly cricket match is played between two Cricket teams Dark horse and Warriors Group, where Team Warrior won the match with excellent strategies.

Aam Aadmi Party President Surinder Singh Sodhi (Retired IPS) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and appealed  people to make sports an integral part of their lives for physical and mental fitness. He said that the Covid pandemic has taught us various lessons and the foremost of all is to take good care of our health. He said that sports activities act as catalyst for ensuring good health of individual and boost our energy to fight against diseases.

He further emphasised that sports are become integral part of human life for  a fit body and sound mind. He said that being in the field not only taught us team spirit but also polishes our tactful skills to play diligently in stressful environment.  He said that nowadays when stressful living and lifestyle diseases are posing a serious risk to the human lives, games can be very helpful in making the state disease free and healthy. He said that it the need of hour that every social organisation come forward for serving the with such stressbuster events.

Earlier, welcoming Sodhi, President of Warrior Group Varun Kohli and Rajinder Raja informed him about the other  welfare activities being carried out by the NGO. Kohli said that the NGO is committed for the well being of people and no stone is being left unturned for it. Along with him, Rajinder Raja congratulated Team Warriors Captain Sumit(29),  Vice Captain  Tarun (27), Somen Goyal (24),  Harsh (24) and others for their huge success.

On this Occassion, President Sodhi honoured all the players after the match and clicked pictures with them.

Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included President Varun Kohli, Rajinder Raja, SK Mishra, Kamal Sehgal, Tajinder Singh, Anil Chadha, Shamil Menon, Manpreet Singh Gaba ,Anudeep Bajaj ,Rakesh Kumar, Sanjiv Arora,Vishal Gumber, Vishal Chadha, Davinder Saini, Nitin Puri, Ankur Dhuria, Sanjiv Kalsi, Sanjiv Ahuja, Boby Gulati, Vikas Sharma and Bobby Rattan.
