Former Minister’s tweet on drugs lands Congress in quandary
Phagwara, 14 May 2022 : Former Punjab Minister and AAP leader Joginder Singh Mann’s tweet on drug seizure has put Congress party in quandary.
Mann has tweeted that Phagwara Police has recovered more than seven kilogram opium from a gang which is being operationalised by a local influential leader. Sources said that Police has arrested a local Congress leader who is considered close to sitting MLA from Phagwara with the consignment of opium. Sources said that Mann had asked for transparent probe as deeper enquiry can land MLA and his other associates in deep trouble.
