Major jolt for SAD as state General secretary joins AAP
Phagwara, 03 February 2022 : In a major jolt to Akali Dal its State General Secretary and prominent leader of Phagwara Pritpal Kaur Tulli today joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in presence of party candidate and former Minister Joginder Singh Mann.
“This election is fight between common man and corrupt system, so I have chosen to stand by common man by joining AAP” said Tulli.
She said that AAP stands for securing rights of common man whereas all other parties are hell bent upon exploiting the people. She said that she is deeply influenced by policies and programs of AAP which envisages welfare of common man. She said that the day is not far when AAP will form government in the state.
Meanwhile, welcoming her to party fold Joginder Singh Mann said that she will be given due respect in the party. He said that joining of Tulli has given a new strength to party in the city. He described Tulli as an honest, dedicated and committed leader who is working tirelessly for well being of people.
Mann said that it is a writing on wall that AAP will form government in the state with Bhagwant Mann as the Chief Minister. He said that Arvind Kejriwal’s ‘Delhi Model’ will be basis of Punjab government to ensure welfare of all. He said that every effort will be made to make sure that Phagwara is developed on modren lines.
On the occasion Harjinder Singh Virk, Harmesh Pathak, Talwinder Ram, Inderjit Khalyan and other leaders were also present.
