STATE LEVEL FUNCTION ON MARTYRDOM DAY OF BHAI MAHARAJ SINGH IN RABBON UCHHI VILLAGE ON JULY 5
Ludhiana, July 3 2021 :A state-level function will be organized by Punjab government to pay the tributes to Bhai Maharaj Singh on his martyrdom day in Rabbon Uchhi village of the district on July 5, 2021.
Payal MLA Lakhvir Singh Lakha today held a meeting regarding the preparations of this function and said that Fatehgarh Sahib MP Dr Amar Singh will be the chief guest on the occasion and will pay tribute to Bhai Maharaj Singh, who is also known as the first national freedom fighter.
He said that apart from the MP, several MLAs and others will also pay the tribute to Bhai Maharaj Singh.
He said that due to ongoing Covid19 pandemic, a brief function would be organised this time.
On the occasion, Zila Parishad chairman Yadwinder Singh Jandiali, block president Abinderdeep Singh Jassa Rorian, former sarpanches Piara Singh, Inder Singh and others were present.
