BERI EXHORTS PEOPLE TO MAKE YOGA AN INTEGRAL PART OF THEIR LIVES TO COMBAT COVID-19
Jalandhar, June 21, 2021: MLA Mr. Rajinder Beri today exhorted the people to make ‘Yoga’ as an integral part of their lives for defeating the Corona Virus pandemic in an effective manner.
The MLA, while participating in a Yoga camp organized here at local Master Tara Singh Nagar by Yaarana Club, said that the pandemic has taught us various lessons and the foremost of all is to take good care of our health. He said that Yoga can act as a catalyst for ensuring good health of an individual by saving him from many lifestyle diseases. Mr. Beri said that yoga was very essential for a fit body and sound mind.
The MLA said that since ages Yoga have been a tradition in India for a healthy and progressive life. He said that nowadays when stressful living and lifestyle diseases were posing a serious risk to the human lives, the Yoga could be very helpful in making the state disease free and healthy. Mr. Beri called upon people to ensure that they spare atleast an hour for Yoga daily so that they reap benefits of a healthy life.
The MLA further emphasised that Yoga helps in maintaining mental and physical equilibrium thereby ensuring a quality life. He also lauded the NGO for organizing this yoga camp to create awareness amongst the people about ensuring good health and hygiene through Yoga. Mr. Beri said that it was the need of the hour to organize such camps for not only maintain good health but also de-stressing the people, who face numerous challenges every day.
During the camp Mrs Naresh Vij, Mrs Satwinder Miglani, Mr Amarjeet Miglani, Mrs Saroj Jindal, Mr Paramjeet, Yogacharya Varinder Sharma and Mrs Dheer taught the people how to practice Yoga as a part of International Yoga Day celebrations.
Earlier, welcoming the MLA President of NGO Mr. Sandeep Jindal, Mr. Varun Gupta, Mr. Munish Jindal, Mr. Sukhjinder Singh, Mr. Saurabh Kumar, Mr. Aman and others apprised him about the activities being carried out by the NGO for wellbeing of the people.
On the occasion Mr Vinod Salvan, Mr Sanjay Jain, Mr Ajay Aggarwal, Mr Raj Kumar Jindal, Mr Garg, Mr Inder Kumar, Mr Rakesh Kumar, Mr Rakesh Gupta, Kamaldeep Aggarwal, Kamaljeet Singh, Manoj Aggarwal, Rajinder Pappi, Dhruv Mittal, Krishan Kant, Mr Handa, Mr Budhiraja, Mr Seth, Mr Gandhi, Tajinder Bhagat, Mr Pathak, Ms Vanita, Ms Kavita, Ms Shelly, Sameer, Anju, Nandini, Rashi and Varinda were also present.
