(Rajinder Kumar) Jalandhar, 06 October 2025: The country’s renowned Surjit Hockey Society received a major boost when Ludhiana’s Parmeshwari Silk Mills (Ramtex) announced its sponsorship of a ₹2.50 lakh cash award for the runners-up team in the 42nd Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament-2025.
According to Iqbal Singh Sandhu, CEO of Surjit Hockey Society that the sponsorship of the ₹2.50 lakh cash award for the runners-up team in this 42nd edition of the tournament by Jatinder Pal Singh, Chairman & Managing Director of Ludhiana’s Parmeshwari Silk Mills (Ramtex) is a significant step towards promoting hockey and motivating players to deliver better performances. This prestigious tournament of national importance is being organized from October 23 to November 1 at the local Surjit Hockey Stadium, Burlton Park. Surjit Hockey Society’s office bearers Lakhwinder Pal Singh Khaira and L.R. Nayyar (both working presidents), Surinder Singh Bhapa (Secretary General), Ranbir Singh Tut (Secretary), Ram Pratap (Senior Vice President), Gurwinder Singh Gullu (Chief PRO), Ramnik Singh Lucky Randhawa (Vice President &Chairman Improvement Trust, Jalandhar) and others have expressed their gratitude to Jatinder Pal Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, Parmeshwari Silk Mills (Ramtex).
