The New York Times and many a newspaper reported that Elon Musk knowing well, however, amplified this fake report by posting his comments personally too which were seen by his millions of followers on X mostly aligning with republicans. This was quite provoking, so was also said by CNN Worldwide which is the most honored brand in cable news, reaching more individuals on television and online. It’s now not a secret that he openly supports Trump in the current US presidential election process.
Elon Musk is at liberty to subscribe to his political ideology but in the guise of becoming a free speech frontrunner advocate, he has developed a strong tendency to pursue his own agendas which are clearly an overlapping of his personal and corporate interests. Elon Musk reportedly has also been talking about an elevated false right-wing narrative about immigrants in USA giving the impression that Democrats were fast-tracking citizenship applications to rig elections in the party’s favor and also noncitizens will be allowed to vote in the 2024 election. Such vicious campaigns has irritated and frustrated the immigrants who have come to USA legally but are still awaiting their Green Cards and Citizenships. It is amply clear that the unauthorized immigrants aren’t broadly eligible for naturalization and they have almost nil path to citizenship.
To qualify for naturalization, someone generally has to have been a lawful permanent resident for five years, married to a US citizen and a lawful permanent resident for three years, or a member of the military. This deliberate attempt by Elon Musk has not been appreciated by immigrants particularly from Asian countries who have been contributing to the growth of America but awaiting naturalization and struggling to get their H 1 Visa continuity due to many obstacles for getting it stamped again and again to continue their jobs and keep families in the USA. They always believe that whether it is Democrats or Republicans at the helm, they are paying a lot of taxes in USA coffers for its growth.
Afterall, Musk who is one of the wealthiest individuals in the world and a Technology Moguls of the world too can’t be cleverly browbeating the people around the world who are using the platforms like Twitter X and others. Surprisingly, the world politicians globally and locally both too have succumbed in using Twitter X platform to settle their scores on this social media rather than debating and discussing issues in assemblies and parliaments threadbare. This is akin to making the world democracies banana republics where chaos is allowed to rule and vested interests shaping the world to perpetuate discord in nations and communities.
Elon Musk must stick to his progressive positivity only
Elon Musk has already given to the world Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink and many other companies floated by him.For Tesla and Electric Vehicles, Musk benefits from government incentives and subsidies. Musk’s advocacy for climate policies are benefiting Tesla. SpaceX receives billions of US Dollars in government contracts for space exploration and satellite launches which integrate many operations of others. For his Neuralink which works on Brain-Computer Interfaces, Musk’s this neurotechnology company seeks government funding and regulatory approvals.
However, Musk’s Neuralink project raises ethical concerns about merging AI with humanity. The Boring Company (TBC) which is an American infrastructure, tunnel construction services and equipment company and is founded by Elon Musk seeks government contracts for infrastructure development which directly benefit him.
Notwithstanding, undoubtedly, Musk’s dual roles as CEO and X owner create potential conflicts. Musk’s Twitter presence and public statements shape his reputation. It raises concerns about his biased content moderation. His libertarian views and vision for humanity’s future influence his business and political decisions to his advantage. Musk’s companies lobby governments, potentially influencing policy decisions. It’s not that successive governments have not valued Elon Musk’s contribution, rather every establishment has helped his interests. There is no reason for him to vilify democrats everywhere so rubbishy.
Musk has influenced and inspired many youths globally and his platform has given him many dividends. His philanthropy to the educational institutions like Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley his support for renewable energy projects and sustainability initiatives for Nature Conservancy, his funding for space exploration and scientific research and other philanthropic efforts through the Musk Foundation are laudable. He also donated liberally for SolarCity solar panels to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria in the year 2017
We want Elon Musk to be known in future history as an excellent human being who made this world a better place to live through his businesses.
