Commissionerate Police Jalandhar Arrests Five Landa Gang Shooters in 15-Day Operation
Jalandhar, 30 June 2024 : In a significant breakthrough, the Commissionerate Police Jalandhar has successfully arrested five operatives of the notorious Landa Gang, involved in a plethora of criminal activities across Punjab. The 15-day operation led to the recovery of five foreign-made pistols and exposed the gang’s involvement in arms and drug smuggling, murder, extortion, ransom, and other heinous crimes.
According to the police, the Landa Gang had been wreaking havoc in multiple districts of Punjab, spreading terror and fear among the citizens. The arrests have sent a strong message that the Punjab Police is committed to eradicating organized crime in the state, as per the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
