– AGI premier league enters into second day with festive fervour at Jalandhar Heights
Jalandhar, 18 November 2022 : Underscoring the significance of sports culture in our society, DGM Punjab National Bank Punjab Circle Mr. Bhushan Sharma on Friday evening urged the people to must adopt some sports activity in their lives to ensure their all round development.
Inaugurating the second day events under AGI Premier League here at Jalandhar Heights, the DGM said that it was our collective responsibility to connect our children with the sports so as to inculcate discipline, team spirit and other qualities among them. He also added that this sports spirit can be used for bringing reforms in the society thereby weaning youth away from the menace of drugs. He said that the need of hour was to popularize sports culture amongst the children as well as the youths. He further said that the sportspersons were blessed with several qualities and one of them was that they develop a team spirit during the game, which could help them to excel in their lives.

Addressing the gathering DSP Subash Arora, who also joined arrived here to encourage the society for this sports event, lauded the efforts of NGO Warrior Group for its unique endeavour to organize such a mega event on annual basis. Mr. Sharma also appealed to other NGOs and residential welfare societies to replicate this move in their respective localities to spread the message of sports among masses.
During the second day event, the first match was held between Image craft warriors vs Juneja warriors which was won by Image craft warriors team lead by Mr Sanjeev Arora. Likewise, the second match between was played between Kartar warriors vs PNB Warriors and was won by Kartar warriors lead by Mr Shamil Menon. Man of match was awarded to Mr Ranbir Kalsi of Image craft warriors for displaying all-rounder skills whereas second man of the match was won by Mr Parth Puri for his significant contributions with the bat & bowl in the second match.

Meanwhile, Managing Director AGI Group Mr. Sukhdev Singh Managing, President of NGO Varun Kohli, Rajinder Raja welcomed the dignitaries on their arrival at Jalandhar Heights. Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included Sanjeev Arora, Sanjiv Ahuja, Ankur Chopra, Anudeep Bajaj, Shamil Menon, Dr Ankur Sehgal, Nitin Puri, Davinder Saini, Manpreet Singh Gaba, Vishal Chadha, Bobby Rattan, Bobby Gulati, Tajinder Singh, Vikas Sharma, Vishal Gumber, Sachin Madaan and Randip Waalia Sunny.
After the event, AGI premier league’s Lead & Title Sponsor “Unik Pipe fittings” Chairman AC Ghai and Director Mr Paras Ghai praised the efforts of players for showing enormous skills during the matches and also for showing true Sportsmanship.
