3 VACCINATION CAMPS INAUGURATES IN LUDHIANA TODAY
Ludhiana, June 12:
Punjab Youth Development Board chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra today said that there is no shortage of vaccine in the district now and people should not shy away from getting themselves vaccinated. “We have played our part by specially arranging vaccine and now its duty of Ludhianvis to get themselves vaccinated,” said Bindra while speaking to media persons on the occasion.
Accompanied by ADC (Development) Sandeep Kumar, Sukhwinder Singh Bindra today inaugurated three vaccination camps for those aged above 18 years under Mission Fateh 2.0 in Sahnewal area today. These camps were inaugurated at Radha Soami Satsang Ghar at Mundian and Kadian and at Government Senior Secondary Boys School Sahnewal. On this occasion, Badges and Car Stickers were distributed to the Vaccinated Youth.
Bindra said that thousands of Youth will benefit from these Camps. He said that today, the District Administration had organised 159 free vaccination camps for those aged above 18 years in district Ludhiana.
He said that the Capt Amarinder Singh led Punjab Government is committed for the vaccination of all its residents and that is why, free vaccination camps are being organised across the state. He said that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, special emphasis is being given for vaccination of the Punjabi youth.
He said that the Youth Clubs associated with Punjab Youth Development Board are playing a pivotal role in fight against Covid19. He said that all the youth clubs associated with the board are being motivated to encourage residents of their respective villages to get vaccinated in large numbers.
He informed that he is personally motivating all PYDB members and youth clubs across the state for organising such camps in their respective areas so that we can weed out Covid19 from our society.
Sukhwinder Singh Bindra said that all youth of the state are being motivated to get themselves vaccinated. He said that the PYDB is making concerted efforts to administer the dose of the Covid19 vaccine to all eligible people and PYDB would leave no stone unturned to ensure speedy coverage of those eligible at the earliest.
The Chairman said that only accelerated vaccination drive can help to build herd immunity resulting in breaking the transmission chain of the infectious disease.
