WPCL Season 6 Kicks Off with Energy, Entertainment, and Exciting Matches

(Rajinder Kumar) Jalandhar, 31st October 2025: The much-awaited Warrior Premier Cricket League (WPCL) Season 6 began yesterday amid great enthusiasm and celebration. The grand opening ceremony witnessed a packed ground full of energy, spirit, and cheers from players and spectators alike.

The event was graced by chief guests Mr. MF Fauqee, ADGP and Mr. Vivek amid IAS Officer, who inaugurated the tournament and shared inspiring words with the audience. Other distinguished guests were Mr. Pankaj Chadha, President Sodal Mandir, Mr Lally Ghuman, Chairman Model Town Association and Rajeev Duggal President Model Town Association, Varun Kohli, Davinder Saini, Vishal Chadha, Sanjeev Arora, Sanjeev Ahuja, Anudeep Bajaj, Shamil Menon, Nitin Puri, Ankur Sehgal, Paras Juneja, Sumit Randev, Sachin Madaan, Ajay Duggal, Vivek Sharma, Bobby Ratan.

The ceremony opened with a vibrant cultural performance by children, followed by a dynamic Bhangra show that set the festive tone. The evening reached its peak when renowned singer KARMA took the stage with a live performance that had everyone grooving.

The chief guests lauded the Warrior NGO for its tireless efforts in promoting fitness, teamwork, and youth engagement through sports. They also appreciated the organization’s consistent contribution to social causes and community service initiatives carried out throughout the year.

Day one saw two thrilling encounters—Kartar Warriors defeated Uniaid Warriors, while Jain Overseas Warriors triumphed over Vision Way Warriors. Both matches kept spectators on the edge of their seats, showcasing the competitive spirit and talent of the teams.

To add to the lively atmosphere, free food stalls were set up for spectators, creating a festive community vibe around the tournament.

With this energetic start, WPCL Season 6 promises to be an action-packed celebration of sportsmanship, talent, and unity.
