Warriors Group conducts massive plantation drive at Burlton Park
Jalandhar, 5 August 2024 : The Warriors Group today organized a massive plantation drive at Burlton Park, aiming to enhance the city’s green cover during the monsoon season. Group President Varun Kohli stated that members planted various saplings as part of their commitment to environmental conservation.
Varun Kohli emphasized the active participation of all group members, who also pledged to ensure the proper care and growth of the newly planted saplings. ACP Traffic Aatish Bhatia attended the event, praising the Warriors Group’s eco-friendly initiative. He highlighted the urgency of planting more trees to combat environmental pollution and enhance urban greenery, noting that nature plays a crucial role in mitigating the adverse effects of pollution.
Prominent attendees included Rajinder Raja, Vishal Chadha, Pankaj Chadha, JS Bilga, Nitin Puri, Shamil Menon, and Hari Prasad, Sunny. Varun Kohli also announced plans for more such plantation drives in the coming days, reinforcing the group’s dedication to environmental sustainability and community involvement.
