Vijay Inder Singla hands over Psychometric Test results to students of Government Smart Schools
Sangrur, 26 August 2021 : Punjab School Education and PWD Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla today met the students and their parents at Government Senior Secondary Smart School Boys and Girls in
Bhawanigarh under the special counseling campaign. Mr. Vijay Inder Singla, Cabinet Minister and MLA from Sangrur constituency said that Sangrur constituency was his family and overall development of all sections of the society would be his personal responsibility.
Mr. Singla said that by utilising his personal resources, ‘Psychometric Test’ of about 3500 students studying in 10th and 12th class in government schools was conducted to identify their potential for further studies and career choices.
Mr. Vijay Inder Singla said that the students of government schools of Sangrur constituency have undergone’Psychometric Test’ free of cost from a reputed company in the field of education ‘Wheebox’ so that their basic aptitude could be identified. He said that this test was conducted online during the Covid Pandemic and after the test a separate result report of each student has been prepared in both Punjabi and English languages.
Mr. Singla said that after acknowledging the potential with the help of the test, the students were being encouraged to choose higher education and career as per their eligibility so as to ensure their future success.
On this occasion Education department officials, staff of both the schools, students and their parents and other dignitaries of the area were also present.
