Three friends came up with idea of looting ATM after watching videos on YouTube
Jalandhar, 7 August 2021 : Information Technology is not only impacting people with positive ideas but also being used as a weapon to learn how to execute criminal activities. In a similar instance, Jalandhar Commissionerate Police have busted a gang of robbers who had attempted to loot an ATM near Pathankot chowk a few days ago.
During investigation the gang members revealed that they had come up with an idea to loot an ATM after watching scores of videos on YouTube. They stated that they had learned as to how to break open the ATM machine from YouTube after which the trio attempted their first ATM robbery on intervening night of August 2-3, 2021. They tried to break open the ATM with iron rodes; However, they failed in their maiden attempt.
The mastermind of this crime is a 20-years old boy named Prince Kumar who has studied upto 5th class while other members have been identified as Pappu Kumar (20) and Gaurav (19) of Hargobind Nagar, Jalandhar.
