TALENT HAS NO AGE ; EDUCATION MINISTER PARGAT SINGH
Chandigarh, 26 October 2021 : Talent as they say has no connection with age. It is inbuilt and honed to perfection with persistence. One such assiduous soul is Khushi Sharma who has penned a book titled ‘The Missing Prophecy- Rise of the Blue Phoenix’. The book was released today at Punjab Bhawan by Education and Higher Education & Language Minister Pargat Singh.
S. Pargat Singh said that the change which has come in the last 15-20 years, has not been seen during 100 years. He further said that children in the modern era are very talented which is very aptly exemplified by Khushi.
It is noteworthy that Khushi Sharma is a student of class 12th at Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh. A multi talented personality, Khushi is a two time National Medal winner in squash. A pianist and a Kathak dancer, she has staged a few performances in this Indian classical dance form.
The services rendered to society by this pious soul have been well recognised and she has been duly awarded for leading a community outreach programme in waste segregation . She also happens to be the youngest Isha yoga teacher, having begun the pursuit at the age of eleven.
During the pandemic, the lockdown period in particular, while most students her age might have been busy with more of recreational activities, this research enthusiast was diligently modelling the progression of covid 19 and evaluating preparedness, posting the articles on her blog, blogwithkhushi.co.in. to generate awareness among the youth. It was then that she also took to completing her debut Sci-fi novel which flowed naturally from her magical pen.
Speaking about her book Khushi conveyed that the sci-fi thriller has lead female protagonist Ember Hart, who epitomises courage, conviction, perseverance , teamwork and leadership; traits which Khushi identifies as her own.
Ember Hart has been wandering across the Universe for three centuries in order to find a way to bring back her beloved Niklaus.
Adding suspense to the story, observed the author, is the fact that while Ember is busy searching for her beloved, trouble is brewing up on her planet Solaris with evil forces threatening to conquer it. Will Ember Hart choose to save her planet or choose to save her beloved?
