Sukhwinder Singh Bindra inaugurates open gym at Govt Sr Sec School in Mundian Kalan

Ludhiana, July 17 2021 : Punjab Youth Development Board (PYDB) chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra today inaugurated an open gym at Government Senior Secondary School in Mundian Kalan area of the city. On this occasion, he also distributed sports kits for the students of this school.

While speaking on the occasion, Bindra said that this open gym has been installed specially for the rural youth in Mundian Kalan. He said that the Capt Amarinder Singh led Punjab government is committed for providing best sports facilities to the rural youth. He said that more such open gyms are being installed in different parts of the state, and would inculcate sportsmanship amongst our youth along with keeping them fit.

With a motive to inspire the youth to excel in sports Sukhwinder Singh Bindra also distributed sports kits to the students of this school.

Bindra said that the state government led by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is committed to channelizing the energy of youths in the right direction through the promotion of sports. He said that the government is already ensuring a robust and top-notch sports infrastructure in Punjab to produce champions for national and international events. Bindra added that the Punjab government is also leaving no stone unturned to make Punjab a hub of sports in the country.

He asked the youths to play the game with utmost dedication and hard work to excel in the arena of sports.

Prominent among those present on the occasion included Harpreet singh Happy Mundian, Hardeep Singh Mundian, Pal singh grewal, Inderpal singh grewal, Harvinder kumar pappi (block president), Mandeep singh Sahnewal, Harpreet kaur grewal, Shingara singh mangli, Kamal Sharma, Manpreet singh Dheri, kamaljit singh Bhatti, Manpreet singh Sports coach, Sunita Tezaniya, Surinder chaudhry, Harvinder Mundian, besides several others.
