SPECIALLY ABLED PERSONS ARE INTEGRAL PART OF OUR SOCIETY: GHANSHYAM THORI
Jalandhar, July 7 2021 – On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori, a special vaccination camp was held today at Apahaj Ashram near HMV college, where inmates of the ashram and nearby surroundings were inoculated.
While visiting the camp, Deputy Commissioner said that specially abled persons are the integral part of our society and the administration was committed to serving them amid this unprecedented health crisis. He also interacted with the eligible beneficiaries taking their vaccine jabs.
Meanwhile, a special medical checkup camp was also organized by the Ashram, where Dr. Vijay Mahajan CMD Tagore Hospital, Dr. Jagdeep Singh an eye surgeon conducted the medical examination of people. A wide range of diseases were checked by the expert doctors besides proviging free of cost medicines to patients.
Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori lauded the efforts being made by the Ashram in serving this needy strata of the society through Apahaj Ashram. He said the efforts of Tarsem Kapoor, Chairman of management committee were encouraging others to come forward in serving the humanity. He also assured the management of best possible support from the administration.
