Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh Has Announced A Special Cash Reward Of Rs. 2 Crore For Olympics Gold Boy Neeraj Chopra
Chandigarh,7 August 2021 : In recognition of the great achievement of Neeraj Chopra, a serving soldier of the Indian Army, who has made the entire Nation proud by winning the Nation’s first ever Olympic Gold Medal in any discipline of athletics, the Punjab Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh has announced a special cash reward of Rs. 2 Crore for him. The Chief Minister also stated that it was a proud moment for all Punjabis since the family of Neeraj traces its roots to Punjab.
