Phagwara MC Pulls up socks for tackling any mishap in wake of festival season
– Commissioner releases helpline number of Fire fighting staff
Phagwara, 12 October 2022 : Pulling up its socks to tackle any mishap during the upcoming festival season Municipal Corporation Commissioner Phagwara Dr Nayan Jassal today released helpline numbers of the fire fighting staff.
Divulging the details, Dr Nayan said that the MC is fully geared up to meet any sort of unforeseen challenge in wake of festive season. She said that 18 member fire fighting crew has been deployed to tackle the fire incidents in the state. She said that these include one sub officer, two fire drivers, 12 fireman and two car drivers.
She further said that the Corporation has four fire tenders including two multipurpose tenders and two water tenders to cope up with any sort of mishap. She said that in any case of any emergency people can contact on phone number 100 or 01824-261944. Dr Nayan said that Senior Fire officer Mr Suresh Kumar can also be contacted on his mobile number 9464817088.
Reiterating the firm commitment of MC Phagwara to serve the people, she said that they will be on their toes to ensure that people celebrate the festival with full religious zeal and gaiety. Dr Nayan said that no stone will be left unturned to ensure that people celebrate the festival of light safely. The Commissioner said that it is bounden duty of the MC staff to ensure safety and security of people.
