Phagwara comes out on road to welcome Kejriwal
Phagwara, 28 January 2022 : People from all sections of society today gave a rousing reception to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal when he passed from city on way to Ludhiana.
Common people and volunteers of the AAP standing on the road with the flags of the party welcomed the Delhi Chief Minister with drum beats, flowers and slogans. The huge gathering of people reflected the love and affection of the masses towards the AAP leader. The significant presence of youth amongst the crowd indicated the high regard for the common man’s leader in the mind of every section of society.
“This reflects the love and respect for Kejriwal ji amongst the hearts of people who are waiting for February 20 to vote for AAP and bring its government in the state” said former Minister and AAP candidate from Phagwara assembly segment Joginder Singh Mann.
Mann said that people are fed up from the game of musical chair being played by Congress, BJP and Akalis to secure each other’s interest while enjoying the fruits of power. He said that people want development on basis of ‘Delhi Model’ of Kejriwal which envisages comprehensive development and equal access to all the resources of the people. He said that the day is not far away when people will elect AAP government in Punjab and the state will march forward to become a leading state in the country.
Mann said that a strong wave is blowing in the favor of AAP in Punjab and particularly in Phagwara. He said that massive response of the people from cross sections of society is a pointer to the fact that it is writing on the wall that people want to see Bhagwant Mann as the Chief Minister of the state. He also thanked the residents of Phagwara for their fulsome support and cooperation to AAP.
