Sangrur, 14 December 2021 : The Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Tuesday came down heavily on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for foisting outsiders on the political skyline of Punjab who have absolutely no knowledge of Punjab and its cultural ethos but are audacious enough to project themselves as the voice of the common people of the State.

Attacking AAP Delhi leadership for behaving like a colonial power, the Chief Minister said that they are not using even pictures of its Punjab unit leaders on posters and flexes which makes their nefarious designs of subjugating Punjab quite clear.

In an indirect reference to Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister said that reciting jokes is a thing entirely different from selflessly serving the people and development cannot be carried out merely by enjoying joyrides in the auto-rickshaws with the outsiders.

The Chief Minister was addressing huge gatherings at village Deh Kalan and Ghabdan here on the occasion of laying foundation stone of Shree Cement Limited Sangur Project and Medical College.

Castigating the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal for luring poor people with populist measures such as atta dal, the Chief Minister said that his agenda is to empower poor with quality education and health opportunities.

Taking the attack right into the Akali Dal, Channi pointed out that the century old party like SAD has been brought into disrepute by the Badals and Bikram Singh Majithia with drugs, sacrilege and corrupt practices. “Akali Dal cannot revive till Sukhbir and Majithia are at the helm of things”, said the Chief Minister adding Sukhbir Badal has pocketed every public resource to further his personal motives.

The Chief Minister termed the present time as that of a ‘Yug Parivartan’ in Congress when the power has actually come into the hands of common people thus marking an end to the era of Rajwada Shahi.
