NEW APP LAUNCHED BY PUNJAB GOVT TO REPORT ILLEGAL MINING
Chandigarh, June 11, 2021: Punjab government has launched an android application to report and listen the complaints related to illegal mining. This app will also cure and help in decreasing wrong complaints.
Talking about this application Deputy Commissioner of Rupnagar Sonali Giri told that “This app will include all the Deputy Commissioners, all Senior Superintendents of Police, and all the working Engineers cum District Mining Officers along with the Director of Mining as Head.”
She also informed that the app is already available on the Google Playstore with registered name as ‘Punjabmines’. Any android user can download it from there and complaint about any illegal mining going on as soon as they get to know. After getting the notified complaint the app will automatically locate the complainant’s location and will register the complaint and will also send it to the Deputy Commissioner, Senior Superintendent of the Police, working Engineer cum District Mining Officer and Head Director of the Mining.
