India’s pre-owned smartphone market, Xiaomi hits the graph   with selling brand of 26% share, followed by Apple with 20% and Samsung 16%.

Tremendous  growth was seen in the foreowned smartphone market in India soon after the first wave of the coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown situation. India’s leading re-commerce marketplace for buying and selling used smartphones and other electronics, at a time when the company is releasing the annual “User Behaviour whitepaper” for the pre-owned smartphone market. The data depicts that  in second-hand smartphone space, Xiaomi leads the way followed by Apple and Samsung. However, the data didn’t indicate any impact on the sales or popularity of Xiaomi smartphones even as the anti-China sentiment peaked for a period last year. Cashify has recently raised $15 million in a new financing round and reveals that the company plans to aggressively expand with offline presence and also add more gadget categories for pre-owned products.
