MLAs rues power cuts during luncheon with CM

Chandigarh, July 1, 2021: The MLAs of ruling Congress party today urged the Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh to immediately take preventive steps for tackling the power crisis.

The issue was flagged by almost all the MLAs during luncheon organised by the Chief Minister at his official residence here today. During the luncheon the MLAs expressed concern over the mounting anger amongst the general public due to rising power cuts.

They rued that it can be a major trouble for the congress party in the coming days as it will ruin the prospects of party in upcoming polls.

Meanwhile, highly placed sources said that the Chief Minister has ensured the MLAs that the government is already taking steps to resolve the crisis at the earliest.
