MILKHA SINGH’s WIFE IS NO MORE NOW, DIED DUE TO CORONA
14 June 2021: Nirmal Kaur, a former captain of India’s Volleyball Team and wife of the legendary athlete Milkha Singh, passes away at the age of 85 due to covid-19, yesterday.
She was the backbone Flying Sikh’s family. It is tragic that her husband couldn’t attend the cremation, as he is still in the ICU (of PGIMER in Chandigarh).
Nirmal tested positive for the virus last month and was brought to Mohali’s Fortis Hospital on May 26, 2021, two days after her husband Milkha Singh was admitted to the same facility due to COVID-pneumonia.
May her soul Rest in Peace.
