– Jalandhar Police Crack Down on Drug Network, Arrest 9 and Seize Large Cache of Narcotics and Arms
Jalandhar, 28 July 2024 : In a major operation, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has busted a significant drug network, arresting nine individuals from various locations. The raid yielded a substantial seizure of over 1.11 lakh tablets, capsules, and other drugs, along with arms and ammunition.
An FIR has been registered, and further investigations are underway to identify and dismantle the illegal arms and drug cartel’s backward linkages. This operation marks a significant blow to the illicit drug trade in the region.
