Ludhiana administration organises seminar and free oral check organised for staff

Jagraon,  7   April   2022  :  In order to mark the World Health Day, the Ludhiana Administration today organised a seminar and free oral check for all the staff of administration.

During the sensitisation seminar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Nayan Jassal, a dentist herself, apprised the staff about the need for dental well being. She said that anything which harms the teeth of an individual must be avoided adding that proper brushing coupled with cleanliness of teeth can be very helpful to people. Dr Jassal said that tobacco in any form damages the teeth to a considerable level.

She said that this must be avoided for which the Ludhiana administration under guidance of Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma have organised the camp. She said that it is the beginning and more such camps will organised across the district in the coming days. Dr Nayan said that the state government is committed for ensuring quality healthcare to people and no stone will be left unturned for this noble cause.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner also called on its staff to make stupendous efforts make Ludhiana completely tobacco free. She said that a sustained campaign will be launched in this regard with the help of health department in coming days. Meanwhile, after the seminar a detailed oral check up for the staff was also organised in which renowned dental doctors Dr Saikat and Dr Esha conducted check up of staff.
