KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION CEREMONY HELD AT GOVERNMENT PRIMARY SCHOOL GARHA
MOVE AIMED AT RAISING THE SPIRITS OF THE STUDENTS FOR FURTHER EXCELLING THEIR EDUCATION – AMANDEEP KAUR
TEACHERS ALSO HANDED OVER PROGRESS REPORTS TO PARENTS OF PRE-PRIMARY STUDENTS
Jalandhar, 1 April 2022 : In a first of its kind initiative, the Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony was held today at Government Primary School (Girls), Garha to further motivate children studying in government schools to excel in their school education.
Giving more information, School In-charge Amandeep Kaur said that under the guidance of Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, Secretary Education Ajay Sharma and Director of School Education Pradeep Kumar, the first graduation ceremony has been held in the school wherein as many as 22 students from the kindergarten (pre-primary) were felicitated for their performance. She also added that over 50 community members including parents participated in the event to further encourage these students towards achieving higher ranks in education.
The School In-charge also mentioned that the objective behind such programs in all government primary schools was to thank all the parents who have shown their unwavering faith & support by sending their wards to government schools. She said that at every two years the nursery students complete their pre-primary classes and enter the first class.
The initiative of the education department is aimed at raising the spirits of the students and making them feel like entering the next level. The activities inculcate confidence in the children, help them to move ahead in life and touch the heights of success. The program also aims to educate parents and the community about various activities for the holistic development of government school children such as pre-primary classes and smart classes.
In the wake of this event, the teachers had decorated their pre-primary classes with colorful charts, pre-school materials, colorful toys, balls, story books, clay, children’s drawing activities, posters and various pictures. During the event progress reports of promoted students were also handed over to their parents so that they are aware of the performance of their little ones.
On the occasion School teachers Sukhwinder Kaur, Mandeep Kaur, Shabnam, Kamlesh Rani, Mandeep were also present.
