Joginder Mann’s campaign get major boost as several Congress and Akali families join AAP in Phagwara
Phagwara, 27 January 2022 : The election campaign of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Phagwara and former Punjab Minister Joginder Singh Mann today got a major boost as around 50 families associated with Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal today joined the AAP.
In a meeting held at village Gandwan, staunch Congress and Akali supporters including Rakesh Kumar Keshi, Lakhvir Singh, Amandeep Singh, Mohan Lal Mohni, Gagandeep Singh, Inderjit Kaur, Gurdish Kaur, Gupreet Singh, Jaspal Singh Pal, Rajiv Joshi and others joined AAP and extended full support to Mann. They said that all the other parties have fielded outside candidates from Phagwara whereas Mann had been serving them relentlessly from last more than four decades. They said that they will support and vote to form the AAP government in the state led by Bhagwant Mann.
Welcoming these families to the AAP fold, Mann said that the party has got a major boost with their joining adding he said that the day is not far when AAP will register a massive win from Phagwara. He said that the sole aim of the party is to ensure holistic development of the state on the lines of Delhi. He said that AAP led by Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann will transform the destiny of the residents of state with its people friendly approach and policies.
Mann categorically said that his top priority after the formation of AAP government will be to get district status for Phagwara. He said that it is necessary to facilitate the people for getting their daily administrative works done in a hassle free and smooth manner. He said that apart from this major thrust will be to develop Phagwara into a world class city.
