Chandigarh\/SAS Nagar,\u00a0 12\u00a0 \u00a0October\u00a0 \u00a02022\u00a0 :\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Minister of Transport Mr. Laljit Singh Bhullar paid a surprise visit to RTA office Mohali today and reviewed the work going on in the office.<\/p>\n

Giving more information in this regard, the official spokesperson said that the Minister of Transport went to the public counters at the RTA office this morning, where he got the details of the work being done from the employees and also talked to the people who came to get the work done. He also interacted with the people and got information about the problems being faced by them. The Minister gave instructions to the officials on the spot to solve the problems faced by the people.<\/p>\n

Explaining the purpose of today’s visit, Mr. Bhullar said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh is committed to bring administrative reform and transparency in government work so that people do not have to face any hassle in government offices. On this occasion, he instructed the officials of the RTA office to ensure the attendance of the employees from 9 am to 5 pm.<\/p>\n

He instructed the officials and employees of the RTA office that if someone’s papers are incomplete they should be told about it at the first instance so that they do not have to visit the office again and again. Apart from this, he said that the list of required documents should also be posted on the board so that people can apply only after reading it. He said that the government will soon start biometric attendance of employees so that timely presence of employees in the offices can be ensured.<\/p>\n
