Patiala,06 August 2021 : <\/strong>Principal Secretary, Transport, Punjab K Siva Prasad while reviewing the progress of construction of modern bus stand near Rajpura Bypass, here, today expressed satisfaction over the work.\u00a0 He directed the officials of PWD to complete the work within the stipulated time to facilitate the people.\"\"<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the officials of the Public Works Department apprised the Principal Secretary Transport about the progress of the construction work and informed that the target has been set to complete the main building by November 30.\u00a0 Besides it, the construction of the Pillars of flyover\u00a0\u00a0 started for smooth movement of buses from Rajpura.\u00a0 The roof of the workshop block has been laid.\u00a0 Work on shops \/ showrooms to be set up at the bus stand, has been started.\u00a0 Pavement work for the movement of buses at the bus stand is being carried out on a war footing.\u00a0 Similarly work of steps to enter the bus stand has been started.\u00a0 In addition, after the drawings for the ticket counter and the front compound wall, were approved, construction is now set to begin soon.<\/p>\n

It was informed on the occasion that this bus stand was being constructed in an area of 8.51 acres at a cost of Rs. 60.97 crore. Deputy Commissioner Mr. Kumar Amit apprised the Principal Secretary Transport that the dream project of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, the construction work of this new state-of-the-art bus stand would be completed within the stipulated time.<\/p>\n

On this occasion MD PRTC Bhupinder Pal Singh, the Executive Engineer of Public Works Department (Provincial Division No. 1) Er. S L Garg, Executive Engineer PRTC Jatinder pal Singh Grewal, Executive Engineer, Electrical Wing, Davinder Kaushal, Executive Engineer,\u00a0\u00a0 Water Supply and Sanitation, Amrik Singh, and SDO\u00a0 PWD\u00a0 M K Garg were also present.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
