CANTEEN TO COME UP IN HANSRAJ BADMINTON STADIUM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jalandhar, June 30 2021 &#8211; Jalandhar Central MLA Rajinder Beri on Wednesday sanctioned a grant of Rs 5 lakh for setting up a sports canteen in Raizada Hansraj Badminton stadium.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Former national player and member of Interim Committee Ritin Khanna today met MLA Rajinder Beri.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the meeting, Khanna told MLA about importance of nutritious diet for the players to improve their game so there is immediate need of a sport canteen for the players so that they can get healthy and nutrient rich food easily following which Beri approved Rs 5 lakh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said that with sports canteen, 500 players practicing at stadium would be greatly benefitted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said that with this canteen, the players would be able to get meal for three times in a day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the players who usually come to participate in the tournaments here, will be able to enjoy the food in this canteen as earlier they have to go outside for food.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MLA also patted the back of interim committee of District Badminton Association.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Khanna also said that interim committee has taken several measures for upgradation of the stadium and brought new facility of five new synthetic courts, gyms, yoga and aerobic centre and opened academy of Olympian Deepankar Bhattacharya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is pertinent to mention here that for stadium, MP Naresh Gujral and Speaker Rana KP Singh has provided a
