National Constitution Day<\/strong> or National Law Day<\/strong> is also known as Samvidhan Divas<\/strong>. The day 26 November is Commemorate every year as the adoption of Constitution of India<\/strong>. Here are some Historic Rare facts<\/strong> about the Constitution of India, that everyone must know :<\/p>\n

1. It is the Longest Constitution<\/strong> in the World.<\/p>\n

The Indian Constitution is the longest of any sovereign country in the world. To its current form, it has a Preamble, 22 Parts<\/strong> with 448 Articles<\/strong>, 12 Schedules<\/strong>, ‘5 Appendices<\/strong> and 115 Amendments.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. In its Original form<\/strong>, the Constitution of India was Handwritten by PREM BEHARI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It was beautifully written in Flowing Italic Style with Calligraphy done by Prem Behari Narain Raizada<\/strong>. The Constitution was first Published in Dehradun<\/strong> and Photolithographed<\/strong> by the Survey of India.<\/p>\n

3. On 9 December 1946,<\/strong> the Constitutent Assembly met for the First Time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Assembly was considered as the First Parliament<\/strong> of the Independent India in which Dr. Sachchidananda Sinha<\/strong> was the first President of the Constitutent Assembly.<\/p>\n

4. Before Finalising the First draft 2,000 Amendments<\/strong> were made to the Indian Constitution.<\/p>\n

When the draft was prepared and put up in discussion, Over 2,000 Amendments were made before it Finalised.<\/p>\n

5. The Designing and Decoration<\/strong> of Every page was done by Artists<\/strong> from Shantiniketan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As the Original Constitution is handwritten and every page is decorate uniquely<\/strong> by artists from Shantiniketan<\/strong> including Beohar Rammanohar Sinha<\/strong> and Nandalal Bose<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6. Production of the Indian Constitution initially took 5 years<\/strong>. On 26 january 1950, it became as Law of India<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The day 26 january 1950, was chosen to declared as PURNA SWARAJ<\/strong> (Complete Independence) of India and Hence the Constitution was Legally Enforced<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7. On 26 November 1949,<\/strong> the final draft<\/strong> of Constitution was Ready.<\/p>\n

The Constitutent Assemly gathered for a total of 11 sessions<\/strong>. The 11th session was held between 14-26 November 1949. On 26 November 1949, the Constitutent Assembly made the final draft ready<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

8. The Original Copies<\/strong> of Indian Constitution are placed and stored in Special care.<\/p>\n

The original Hindi and English copies<\/strong> of the Indian Constitution are kept in Speical helium-filled cases<\/strong> in the Library of Parliament of India.<\/p>\n

9. On 24 Jnauary 1950<\/strong>, Signing of the Indian Constitution was done by the Constitutent Assmebly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Almost 284 members<\/strong> of the Assembly signed the Indian Constitution at the Constitution Hall, which is now known as the Central Hall of Parliament (NewDelhi).<\/p>\n

10. The National Emblem of India<\/strong> was Adopted On 26 january 1950.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Day was declared as the Republic Day of India, along with the adoption of Ashoka<\/strong> as the emblem of the Dominion of India in December 1947.<\/strong><\/p>\n
