(Rajinder Kumar) CHANDIGARH; 8th August 2026: <\/strong>Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Media Incharge Baltej Pannu on Saturday said that the \u2018Beadbi\u2019 Party (Akali Dal) and its Chief Sukhbir Singh Badal had repeatedly compromised their political position for political gains and were now desperately seeking an understanding with the BJP.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Calling out Sukhbir Badal, AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu said, \u201cToday Sukhbir Singh Badal is saying that he fully agrees with some of the Bills being brought by the BJP government at the Centre. But the people of Punjab remember very well that when the farm laws were introduced, the entire Badal family was seen making videos in support of those very laws.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Baltej Pannu said that only after facing widespread public anger did the Badals change their position and begin speaking against the farm laws in an attempt to portray themselves as supporters of farmers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Targeting the Akali Dal\u2019s present political position, the AAP Punjab Media In-charge said, \u201cThe Akali Dal \u2018Beadbi\u2019 has fallen completely out of the hearts of the people of Punjab. Now, it is trying every possible way to reach a compromise with the BJP and revive its politics.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Recalling Sukhbir Badal\u2019s earlier statement regarding leaders joining the BJP, Baltej Pannu said, \u201cLet me remind Sukhbir Singh Badal of his own words. He had said that those people who were joining the BJP would have to undergo a DNA test. I am not saying that anyone\u2019s DNA should actually be tested, but when Sukhbir Badal himself made that statement, it is worth mentioning today.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He said that the repeated U-turns of the Badal family had exposed the reality of the Akali Dal\u2019s politics. He said that the people of Punjab could clearly distinguish between those who stood by their principles and those who changed their positions according to political convenience.<\/p>\n

Baltej Pannu asserted that the people of Punjab had already rejected the politics of the Akali Dal and would not be misled by its latest attempts to seek political accommodation with the BJP.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
