(Rajinder Kumar) CHANDIGARH, 18 April 2026: <\/strong>Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday embarked on a visit to the Netherlands to strengthen bilateral partnerships and attract investments across key sectors including Food Processing, Logistics, Alloys and Steels, Pharmaceuticals and Information Technology, as part of the Punjab Government\u2019s sustained push to accelerate industrial growth and economic development.<\/p>\n

On this, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann stated, \u201cThis vision is simple and clear to make Punjab a preferred destination for global industry by offering stability in policy, speed in decision-making, and a governance system that respects the time and trust of investors.\u201d<\/p>\n

The visit assumes significance as the Netherlands is among the largest Foreign Direct Investors in India, with several Dutch companies already having a presence in Punjab. Notably, the Chief Minister had earlier laid the foundation stone of the De Heus factory at Vividha Industrial Park, Rajpura in October 2023. Similarly, the Indo-Dutch Centre of Excellence for Potato crop is already functioning successfully in the state, reflecting the growing collaboration between Punjab and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

During the visit, the Chief Minister will pitch for strategic tie-ups in priority sectors to further boost industrial development. He will also showcase Punjab as North India\u2019s preferred investment destination by highlighting its strategic location, seamless connectivity to NCR and major ports, strong industrial clusters, uninterrupted quality power supply, skilled workforce and a progressive policy ecosystem.<\/p>\n

The delegation led by the Chief Minister will present key governance and regulatory reforms introduced by the Punjab Government, including the FastTrack Punjab single-window system offering more than 173 G2B services, auto-deemed approvals, PAN-based business identifiers and amendments to the Punjab Right to Business Act enabling time-bound in-principle approvals.<\/p>\n

Through a series of roadshows, one-to-one business meetings and interactions with major global corporations and institutions, the delegation aims to position Punjab as a compelling investment destination for European countries and bring new investments to the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
