(Krishna Raja) Narangwal (Ludhiana), 17 May 2025: <\/strong>People at the village which pioneered the fight against drugs recently on Saturday assured fulsome support and cooperation to the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann in their fight against drugs.<\/p>\n

A drug victim Aman Sharma while sharing his experiences said that he was taking drugs for the last 12 years but now as the state government has tightened the noose around drugs he has been able to do away with this curse. He lauded the Chief Minister for taking this war against drugs at ground level to benefit the common man.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Parminder Singh of village Lalton Kalan said that due to stern action of the state government drug smugglers have left the business. He said that this is a real welfare of the common man and the Chief Minister deserves applause for it.<\/p>\n

Another resident of the village Nikhil Sharma said that his brother was a drug addict due to which the family was in agony. He said that he was an ardent supporter of congress but it did nothing for wiping out the curse of the drugs from the state. However, he said that things have changed drastically now as drug smugglers are on the run now.<\/p>\n

A sarpanch Pal Kaur said that this is a noble task as due to state government the drug peddlers are nowhere in sight now. She said that this drive has produced desired results as the villages are becoming drug free now with the active support of the state government.<\/p>\n

A resident of the village Inderbir Kaur said that the credit of transforming the destiny of the state goes to the Chief Minister of Punjab. She said that the Chief Minister has set a new benchmark of public service by delivering transparent and corrupt free administration to the people.<\/p>\n

Sarpanch of the village, Manjinder Singh Grewal said that for the first time the war against drugs has been launched at the ground level. The Sarpanch said that it is for the first time that the CM of the state has acted against drug smugglers merely on a video viral on the social media. He said that the war against drugs is not only of Bhagwant Singh Mann but it is a war to save the generations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
