Jagraon, August 15, 2021:<\/strong> With all women officers at helms of affairs the Jagraon Sub Division of Ludhiana today emerged as symbol of women empowerment during the Independence Day celebrations.<\/p>\n

During the impressive function organised here today, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Nayan Jassal unfurled the national tri-colour. She was flanked by Superintendent of Police Gurmeet Kaur who heads the Police force in the sub division. Similarly the impressive parade in the function was led by Superintendent of Police Ramandeep Kaur.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The picturesque moment of the two leading women officers taking salute from the contingent of Police force led by another decorated Police officer hardly finds any parallel. It was indeed a dream come true for the forefathers of our national freedom struggle who has envisioned greater power for women in every sphere of life. Another interesting fact was presence of Senior most sub division Judge Suman Pathak who also graced the occasion on this auspicious day.<\/p>\n

It may be recalled that women rules the roost in political and executive in Jagraon Sub Division. Besides the presence of these women officers, AAP leader Sarabjit Kaur Manuke has been elected as MLA from the constituency in 2017.<\/p>\n
