{"id":10890,"date":"2021-08-14T13:09:35","date_gmt":"2021-08-14T13:09:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timespunjab.com\/?p=10890"},"modified":"2021-08-14T13:09:35","modified_gmt":"2021-08-14T13:09:35","slug":"presidents-medals-awarded-to-fire-service-home-guards-hg-and-civil-defence-cd-personnel-on-the-occasion-of-independence-day-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timespunjab.com\/?p=10890","title":{"rendered":"President\u2019s Medals awarded to Fire Service, Home Guards (HG) and Civil Defence (CD) personnel on the occasion of Independence Day, 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>President\u2019s medal for Gallantry<\/strong> and President\u2019s medal for <strong>distinguished services<\/strong> as well as <strong>gallantry medal<\/strong> and <strong>meritorious services medals<\/strong> are awarded to the personnel of <strong>Fire Services, Civil Defence &amp; Home Guards<\/strong> on Republic Day and Independence Day each year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the occasion of Independence Day, 2021, <strong>86 personnel<\/strong> have been awarded <strong>Fire Service Medals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Out of these, <strong>Fire Service Medal for Gallantry<\/strong> is awarded to <strong>26 personnel<\/strong> for their respective acts of valour and gallantry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President\u2019s Fire Service Medal for Distinguished Service is awarded to <strong>10 personnel<\/strong> and Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service is awarded to <strong>50 personnel<\/strong> for their respective distinguished and meritorious records of services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, <strong>55 personnel<\/strong> are also awarded <strong>Home Guard &amp; Civil Defence Medals<\/strong> on the occasion of the Independence Day, 2021. Of these, President\u2019s Home Guards and Civil Defence Medal for Distinguished Service and Home Guards and Civil Defence Medal for Meritorious Service are awarded to 05 personnel and 50 personnel
