Jalandhar,\u00a0 10 August 2021 : <\/strong>To ensure beefed up security arrangements in the city besides encouraging field officials, Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar on Tuesday evening conducted a whirlwind tour in the city where he personally briefed the officials as to how to screen suspicious persons and activities at check points.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

The CP accompanied by DCP Gurmeet Singh visited Doaba chowk, Sodal chowk, Workshop chowk, Basti Bawa Khel, and other prominent places and interacted with the police personals deployed at these places.<\/p>\n

Mr. Bhullar asked the officials to be vigil and alert so that nobody suspicious, if any, could skip from their monitoring. He laid emphasis to specially check interstate vichiles passing through the city adding as Jalandhar is a transit point for visitors moving to J&K, Himachal Pardesh and other northern states.<\/p>\n
