Jalandhar, 09 August 2021 : <\/strong>Leading from the front-foot, Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar on Monday evening visited the prominent places in the city to oversee the security arrangement to tackle any kind of untoward situation in the wake of Independence Day.<\/p>\n

The CP conducted surprise checking at the special police Nakas wherein he briefed the police personals to be alert from the standpoint of possible security threat after recovery of a Tiffin Box bomb in Amritsar district. He reiterated the commissionerate police\u2019s commitment to maintain law and order situation at any cost as no stone was being unturned to ensure foolproof security system in the city. He further added that the senior officer would conduct surprise checking at night checking in their jurisdiction daily.<\/p>\n
