High powered panel set by CM to deliberate on demands of agitating employees to meet on July 22
Chandigarh, 20 July 2021: High level group of Ministers and officers constituted by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh will deliberate on demands of the agitating employees on July 22.
As per information the panel will have meeting on the issues of agitating employees in Punjab Bhawan Chandigarh at 3 pm on Thursday. Pertinently, the committee with Local Bodies Minister Brahm Mahindra, Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal, Social empowerment Minister Sadhu Singh Dharmsot , Medical Education Minister OP Soni, Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu and other offices has been set up by the Chief Minister in wake of massive protest by employees against the pay commission introduced by the state government. The employees have been describing pay commission as a retrogressive step aimed at harming their interests.
