DLSA HOLDS COVID-19 VACCINATION CAMP FOR JUDGES, LAWYERS & OTHER JUDICIAL STAFF
Ludhiana, June 19:
District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) today organised a Covid-19 vaccination camp in the district and judicial complex, here. This camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma and District & Sessions Judge Munish Singal.
Munish Singal informed that 90 percent Judges, judicial staff have already been vaccinated. He said that as per guidance of Honble Justice Rajan Gupta, DLSA has set a target for 100 percent vaccination till June 30, 2021. “We have also included lawyers and their clerks too in target category,” said Munish Singal.
In today’s camp, judges, lawyers, staff working in various courts, lawyers who were providing free aid, paralegal volunteers in DLSA, and others also took the jab.
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that today’s camp was held to give a shield against the deadly disease. He added that vaccination was the only way to break the transmission chain of the virus and appealed to all the entitled to come forward and get inoculated at the earliest. He also asked the people to strictly adhere to the Covid protocols.
He also thanked Civil Surgeon Dr. Kiran Ahluwalia Gill for sending the health team for soliciting support for holding the camp successfully.
